FI Multimercado?
It is a leveraged multiportfolio Long Term Fund whose assets include
equities (as classified by ANBID – National Association of Investment
Banks and Securities Dealers).
2) Do I have to be a qualified investor to invest in the fund?
No, you do not have to be a qualified investor.
3) What is the fund’s target public?
Individuals or institutions seeking to invest part of their net worth
who are willing to accept higher than normal risks and can bear losses.
4) What is the minimum initial investment?
The minimum initial investment is R$ 250,000.
5) What is the minimum amount that I must maintain in the fund?
The minimum balance is R$250,000.
6) What is the minimum amount for subsequent investments?
The minimum subsequent investment is R$ 50,000.

8) When is my investment converted into shares in the fund?
Your investment is converted to fund shares at the closing share value
on the day of the request (D0).
9) How many days after the redemption request can I make a withdrawal?
Withdrawals are effected 90 days after the redemption request at the
share value on the 89th day following the request.
10) How much income tax will I have to pay?
The fund is treated as a long-term fund for tax purposes. It is taxed at
source at the rate of 15% of nominal returns on the last business day of
May and November of each year, which should be treated as an advance on
tax due. Should there be any redemptions in the six-month periods prior
to these dates, there may be complementary tax to pay, the rate of which
depending on how long your investment has remained in place:
· 22.5%, on investments that have remained in place for up to 180 days
· 20%, on investments that have remained in place for between 181 and
360 days
· 17.5%, on investments that have remained in place for up to 720 days
· 15%, on investments that have remained in place for more than 720 days
If the fund portfolio were not classified as Long Term, the at-source
rate (under current regulations) would be 20% instead of 15%. In
addition, the complementary rate applied at the time of redemption,
depending on how long your investment has remained in place, would be:
· 22.5%, on investments that have remained in place for up to 180 days
· 20%, on investments that have remained in place for more than 180 days.
11) Will I be subject to any other taxes beyond income tax?
If you make a withdrawal within 30 days of your investment, you will be
subject to IOF (financial operations tax) in line with a graduated table
of rates.
12) Does the fund have a guaranteed rate of return?
No.
13) What is the fund’s benchmark?
The benchmark is the CDI (interbank deposit certificate).
14) Does the fund invest in equities?
Yes, it may invest in equities.
15) Can I cancel a withdrawal once the redemption request has been
effected?
No.
16) Does the fund deal in derivatives?
Yes, derivatives are an integral part of the fund’s investment policy.
17) Is the fund leveraged?
